On Saturday, 12th of March PERCCOM Cohort 3 organized an international evening with self-cooked dishes from the different countries participating in the program, and this time the event was even more special because we could share not only with the Cohort 3 but also students from previous cohort joined in and shared their dishes as well.
The event was held in the 6th floor sauna located in LUT university, a wonderful room at the top floor with views of the lake and all the university, we had the chance to see from the balcony all the natural surroundings that make this place so special.
There were salty, sweet, sour, spicy, vegetarian, not vegetarian, dishes from all the origins imaginable, we had the luck to try dishes from the nationalities such as: French, Swedish, Finnish, Russian, Kazakhstani, Ukrainian, Nepalese, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Iranian, Lebanese, Mexican, Peruvian, Guatemalan, Ecuadorian, Brazilian, Bangladeshi. Everyone took the time to prepare and present their specialties, even though it was hard to get the original flavors and ingredients, everyone made an excellent showcase of their traditional food.
After enjoying the special food, everyone had a pleasant time singing, dancing and of course the traditional sauna, and thus ending an evening with laughs and memories that will last.
