The PERCCOM computer lab in Nancy is equipped with new devices enabling to better manage energy consumption of network architecture. We received:
- Cisco 2960-X switches implementing Switch Hibernation Mode (This feature puts the switch in ultra low power mode during periods of non-operation such as nights or weekends), IEEE 802.3az EEE (it enables ports to dynamically sense idle periods between traffic bursts and quickly switch the interfaces into a low power idle mode) and Cisco EnergyWise
- and PDU Raritan. It enables to remotely monitor and control power of devices. PDU Raritan is compatible with Cisco EnergyWise.
