Kais Mekki (well known by PERCCOM cohort 4) was awarded the best French PHD thesis of 2016 in Automatic Control from the IFAC French Workshop GDR MACS. In July, he will receive his prize during the IFAC 2017 world congress (Toulouse).
Kais developed new commnication protocols for WSN in order to monitor the life cycle of Buildings. Eric Rondeau and William Derigent supervised the thesis.
